Today, for the first time in over a year, my mother actually called me. I excitedly picked up the phone. All I heard was rustling; her purse dialed me. FML

I feel for you. I call her and call her and call her and she never picks up. I called her like 50 times on Mother's Day and she still never picked up. My last phone call with my sister told me that Mom thinks I'm a terrible child because I never said 'happy mother's day' to her. Rage ensued.
