Today, I just got a girlfriend who I love a lot, but I’m friends with this other girl out of pity. It’s so obvious she likes me a lot, and even goes the extra mile for me, but she’s just not my type. Today, I realized that I might be falling for a girl. She's fucking beautiful. She can't love me, I'm not good enough for her, and she's in love with someone else. Besides, I have a girlfriend but it never seems like we're close and I don't even know if I had a crush on her before, but I still love her as a friend and can't break her heart. FML

Her best friend, who I'm kinda friends with, texted me, confessing that she likes me. Now the first girl won't talk to me for the sake of her best friend, who I'm not interested in. FML
Today, I realized I have feelings for a really good friend of mine. Now I have to keep my distance because he’s married, and I refuse to be a homewrecker. FML
Today, I’ve been waiting for the girl I love to break up with her boyfriend so I could ask her out. It finally happened; however she said she wanted time to heal before she started getting involved with guys again. I respected that decision. There’s just one problem. I saw her in town, hand in hand with another man. FML

I think it's best, and I get the impression that you know this too, to in some way let her know that there's no chance you'll ever be anything more than friends.

There’s a saying that goes that says “The grass isn’t really greener on the other side.” Get out of her way so she can find someone who actually deserves her. You don’t deserve her at all. Dude, not telling her is the cruelest thing of all. Do you really want to be kind to her? Have that honest conversation and tell her that she deserves someone who can't wait to hear her voice every morning, and that you can't offer her that. Because that is the simple truth.
