Today, I’m a short but decently attractive male but I can’t gain enough confidence to approach women, because of the trauma from female classmates treating me terribly in high school when I was still short, but also still going through puberty. FML

Today, I'm 23, but my development was starved due to my overprotective parents. My peers never accepted me, even though I tried to find someone to be friends with. To this day, I've been told I come off as creepy by more women than I have fingers on my hands. I feel like a fifteen year-old walking around in a man's body. FML
Today, I overheard the girl I like tell her friends about me, “I like his personality a lot, it would be so sexy if he was taller. He’s adorable though.” I’m just below average height for a man. I wouldn’t even consider myself super short. I hate being 22. FML
Today, and after I started losing my hair during my high school, my confidence is gone. I've struggled approaching women and have missed many opportunities. I'm 36 years-old now. Today, I connected with someone online, and when I told her about my situation, her response was, "Sorry, I'm not feeling that spark." FML
Today, I'm a guy who's always been physically a late bloomer. In high school, I looked too young for girls to like me. At 22, I still looked 17. Now at 25, I look good but when girls find out my age, they expect me to have everything figured out by now. I never got to be young. FML
Today, despite being in high school, I'm still shorter than the average 3rd grader. FML
Today, I've come to accept that I'll likely never be intimidating or taken seriously, because despite being 6'3" and 205 lbs, I have the face of a 12 year-old. I'm 25. FML
Today, I went to my high school reunion. I've had a huge glow up since then, and I noticed plenty of women who never spoke to me at the time trying to hit it off with me. It seems the partners of some of those women got jealous and started pressing me. Now I'm getting bullied for being hot? FML
Today, I finally got the courage to approach a girl. I've never done anything like this before. She stared me down, not saying a word, until I felt so little that I just walked away. FML
Today, I'm at the age where I'm supposed to be having the time of my life. I'm short and look so young that I get asked if I'm still in high school. Every girl I've ever known looks at me like a "little brother". The only girls who have shown interest are still too young to vote. I'm missing out on my 20s. FML
Today, It’s been six years since I graduated high school. My peers in my grade never included me socially, and lots talked down on me or behind my back growing up. My self esteem was ruined and I’ve been pushed into dead end jobs; meanwhile lots of my bullies are now travelling and/or successful. FML

I know the go-to cliche on the internet is to recommend therapy. But, uh, my dude, it sounds like you might want to get some therapy if it's affecting your life this badly.

I know the go-to cliche on the internet is to recommend therapy. But, uh, my dude, it sounds like you might want to get some therapy if it's affecting your life this badly.

For about $75000, they can break your legs, add 3-6 inches of bone and make you that much taller. Sounds fun!

That surgery is wild, as cheap as $25k if you go to Türkiye and don't mind being in a wheel chair for 3-6 months. Alternatively like $150k to have it done in the US, with better tech that let's you walk unassisted almost immediately. It's an interesting proposition if done early enough in life would pay for itself since every inch of gained height you're statically likely to make an extra $1,000 a year more.

Damn, I just did the math on the roi of making an extra 6k a year and investing it over the course of your working career in the s&p 500. Being 6 inches taller is worth $2,372,133.14 over a 40 year career. No wonder our society likes tall people.
