Today, my sweet tooth went to a whole different level when I took a swig out of a bottle of maple syrup. FML
TonyTalkingClock tells us more.
OP here. First off, I would like to thank you all for not only putting my FML on here, but also giving me all this feedback! I felt like I would answer some questions. 2 - Note to self: Will try. 8, and several others - I actually do have some French Canadian heritage, but I was born and raised here in the North Shore of Massachusetts. 36 - It's real maple. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! If you're wondering, it tasted like maple syrup.

As someone who likes to eat spoonfuls of frosting and chocolate chips I have little room to judge

I hope you're at least using real maple syrup, not maple-flavored corn syrup like most are nowadays.

Wow, and I thought I had a killer sweet tooth. I'll eat anything with sugar, but taking a swig of syrup from the bottle? Even I wouldn't go that far. Yikes!

Are we talking corn syrup with maple flavouring or actual maple syrup? 100% maple syrup is something you only need a teaspoon of to be heading for sugar coma.

Haha I can't decide whether this is gross or yummy. I like Maple syrup and will sometimes wipe the plate with my finger after eating pancakes or waffles and lick my finger clean but the idea of swigging it from the bottle kind of grosses me out. :/
