Today, my period started again. I just finished a 17-day period 3 days ago. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, exactly 28 days after I started my last period, I started a new period. This would be perfectly healthy and normal except that my last period was 24 days long. This has happened every month this year. FML
I've had even enough
Today, I started my period. Unfortunately, my last period only ended six days ago. PCOS sucks. FML
The planets aligned
Today, I started a new job. I also started my period, and have the shits. FML
The body keeps the score
Today, I started my period, complete with cramps, diarrhoea, a headache, bloating, and aching legs. Apparently my body didn't get the message that I had a total hysterectomy a month ago, including my ovaries, tubes and cervix. FML
Today, I woke up with a hangover, a shaved head, and my period. FML
NOT NOW!
Today, after I went in for surgery, I came out of extremely anemic from blood loss. As soon as I got home, I started my period. FML
Today, thanks to a new form of birth control, I've now been having my period non-stop for six weeks. FML
Funday is canceled
Today, I’m currently battling a cold that caused me to call into work yesterday and, as of this morning, I’ve also started my period and have the most painful cramps ever. Good thing I have the day off from work. FML
Today, I have a UTI that spread to my kidneys, a yeast infection, and a herpes outbreak. Oh, and my period came this morning. FML
Stinky
Today, I’ve finished all my cancer treatments but my body is putting me through the wringer again. I got my first period after not having one for nearly a year, and with it has come all sorts of hormonal issues including cramping, mood swings, hot flashes, and heinous BO! It’s worse than puberty! FML

Please go to the doctor OP. My adoptive mother had endometrosis and it made her have a really heavy period and her period never had a regular schedule.

I know your pain. I know no one cares, but one time I had my period twice in one month. Turns out, I had walking pneumonia..so I mean, you might wanna get checked

I just recently had this same issue. I had a hormone imbalance. It sucked but it was an easy fix.

I know a couple people that happened to. It can be caused by a number of things but pretty much all have no treatment other than manage it by using really strong birth control. You have to go to your doctor.

Maybe it's time to get off that new form of birth control.

As everyone else has said, go see a doctor. Of course there are many things that can be contributing to your extended periods. I had mine for 5 months straight at one point. I saw a total of 5 doctors, 5 different times, was told each time it was most likely stress. Had a total of 7 ultrasounds, found nothing. I ended up changing my diet which helped out a bit. Also after you go to the doctors, if they don't find anything wrong, look up Vitex, it is a vitamin that regulates periods and has completely balanced mine out finally. Hopefully everything goes well, I know how horrible it can be.

Go to your GYNO or some kind of doctor ASAP. They is not normal and might be your body's way of saying so.
