Today, my boss reprimanded me for a huge screw-up that he was responsible for. FML
Today, my boss yelled at me for leaving on time. After months of management hounding us about our overtime, I get in trouble for doing what I was supposed to do. FML
Today, I was scolded by my boss, all because I can finish most tasks in a quarter of the time it takes him, and he doesn't want to be shown up. FML
Today, my boss got mad at me because I told her that I wouldn't be able to work two days out of the week, due to college classes. She then cut back my hours so much that I now only work one day a week. I got the job in the first place to pay for my college classes. FML
Today, I arrived at work and was immediately given a disciplinary write-up for being two hours late for my shift. Apparently the manager had changed my schedule that morning and failed to tell me. FML
Today, I got reprimanded by my boss for smiling and laughing too much. Last week, he reprimanded me for not smiling and laughing enough. FML
Today, my boss continued to orchestrate behind the scenes with my colleagues to make me look bad for her lack of organization. Then she showed up 10 minutes late to a meeting, shared that she needed a vacation, and realized that she needed to micromanage less. I've been asking her to make that change for months. FML
Today, my boss told me that my attitude to work is awesome and that he'd follow my example of coming in half-an-hour early every day from now on. I relish those 30 minutes as the only time I can get work done without him constantly interrupting me. So much for that. FML
Today, my supervisor told me off for doing something. When I reminded her that she told me to do it, she yelled at me for correcting her. FML
Today, I got in trouble with my boss for doing what she wanted me to do. I guess she didn't think I would do it, so she did it herself. FML

She's probably expecting you to still work that hour and be OK with not being paid. I'd probably start hunting for a new job if I were you - I didn't when I ran into that problem (work schedule was 8-4, expected to work more like 7-6 with no pay outside of my scheduled hours) and got fired.

What you're supposed to do is grow another set of hands in order to get all your stuff done. If you're not willing to do that, well it's not your boss's fault that you're not committed to your job.

I honestly don't see any scenario where this gets any better for you Op. Either your boss is unreasonable or you aren't efficient enough at your job. I'd use that extra hour into looking for another job where you will probably be happier.

I had that problem when I worked in retail. I got my work done early every day when I first started and then they doubled my work load and cut my hours then had the nerve to say "we just expect you to be better? You were so good when you first started we can't understand why you're having trouble now."
