Today, I found out I am pregnant. I hooked up with my step-dad not that long ago while my mom was out of town. I'm 30 and he wants to tell my mom my baby is his, and I like the idea of telling her, but also know she won’t take it well. FML

I used to have a coworker who married her step brother. At least they aren't getting married.

To the comments: SHUT THE **** UP with the Jerry and/or Maury comments. They're getting old and unoriginal. (and so is your mom, in case anyone wants to jump with that comment.) To the OP: talk to the pair and tell them the options. If she's set on having the baby, then just support them through it.

Who cares if they're not related. What is the child suppose to call their father? Uncle and Dad? That's just wrong. FYL...unless they were dating before you married..then YDI.

That's the most f'd story of the lot. How could you not know? So the father is also the uncle?

Obviously these children are far too young for this kind of thing. But I think the worry regarding incest would depend on how long the OP has been married. If these kids have been raised as brother and sister yes I see that as messed up. However, they could have been together for a few months and these children may have been introduced to each other at these ages or may have even been dating before OP's marraige. Either way I hope you can help your family through this difficult time and find a solution that works foryour daughter not everyone on the internet
