Stop watching so much **** and go out into the world and find someone special! Sex is so much better when it's with someone you love anyway:)

Try joining a dating site...that may help...can't guarantee that you'll have someone by tomorrow but it's worth a shot

I can vouch for this. I recently broke up with my long distance long term girlfriend and I joined a dating site on a dare from a friend. I'm happy to say, that not only did I meet someone but I also managed to get laid as well. Try it OP.

Have you talked to him at all about this and how things are in you relationship at all? That really is a shitty situation but you guys should talk about how you two should deal with the situation. He shouldn't just leave you hanging like that, even if he isn't interested in sex. How long has it been since you guys have had sex? If it's been awhile it's time to talk.
LoverWordsFood 27
Edit: I would ask and see if he's undergoing a lot of stress or something is bothering him at this point and time. Again, just sit down and talk with him about it.

I know those feelings.

Allow me to clarify. You don't have a boyfriend. You have somebody that you share a bed with. That is it. Two reasons: you're not having sex and not talking about it. If you would talk about it, you either would have sex or no boyfriend.

#46 some people are just not interested in sex. Sometimes they try... It's not that they don't want the relationship.... saying OP has no bf because they don't have sex might be your opinion... talking about it can be hard. especially if the bf doesn't understand himself.

#46 It's against some religions to have sex before marriage, and some people would rather save themselves. It's possible for someone to be in a relationship without sex. Sex does not make a relationship.

Unfortunately, OP, I've been in this situation. I was with someone for 4 years and the intimacy dropped to zero after 3-3 1/2 years. As it turns out, he was cheating on me with someone else. I'm not saying that your boyfriend is the same way but if the sex just suddenly dies off, something is up. You need to have a long talk with him and find out what's going on. Good luck.

Wait, so if I don't have sex with my boyfriend that makes me single and I can go out with whoever I want, right? Logic at its finest...

Could be your boyfriend is dealing with asexuality. I suggest talking to him about it, but don't make a big scene, you could hurt his feelings. I have a friend who has recently discovered he's asexual and would rather be with a girl for companionship, the sex just doesn't interest him.

I would get him to talk to a. Doctor that could be a sign of low testosterone

My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we don't have sex often anymore, BUT we still love each other very much. We just grew up and realize that sex isn't the most important thing and that we are okay with not doing it all the time. Sex is a very important part of a relationship, BUT you don't have to have it all the time. Perhaps he has reached that point, and you are a bit behind him. Just because you don't have sex, doesn't mean he doesn't care about you anymore. It could just mean that he doesn't feel the need to make that a priority in your relationship. The only way you'll know is if you speak to him about it. It doesn't help you to make assumptions.

#59,that's how my bf and I are, after talking about it and agreeing to it. sex is important, but it shouldn't be the only thing that defines or keeps together a relationship

I'm in the same situation and my boyfriend (after more than one year without sexual desire) got tested and has very low level of testosterona. Not having any kind of sexual drive (specially when you are young) is not natural. If he dind't have any food hunger for a few months he would have gone to the doctor, right? Well, it's quite the same.

She said, he does not want it anymore. Meaning they had sex before now they stopped completely. From her tone of voice a one sided decision. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

If you don't have sex with your boyfriend anymore (but had before and both of you enjoyed it) you might want to consider changing boyfriends. Yes.

58 nailed it. It could be low test, go get him checked out!

Has he started any new medication? When I have to take my antidepressants cuz diet control and exercise aren't working I loose complete interest. It's like id rather eat or watch tv or just sleep than have sex. It makes my relationship hard.

Talk to him. My ex wife assumed I was uninterested in her and ran off and cheated on me because she never talked to me about these things. I was stressed out hardcore due to work related things but she never asked what was wrong, instead assumed I wasn't sexually attracted to her and then screwed her coworker and left.
sorasaveshyrule 16
Matheo are you serious?? I mean, it might be a health issue as a lot of other people have said, but even if not it's no reason to break up with someone. 'Oh, we don't have sex anymore, so even though I love you, and wish to be with you for the rest of my life, I think we should break up." Does that sound smart?
Matheo_fml 21
Hey, I still think they should talk. Also, she seems frustrated because of this situation. If talking does not help she should consider leaving him. Not generally speaking. My comments are specific to this FML and her wording in her comment. And to answer your question, yes, I'm serious.

#46... You're a dumbass.
Matheo_fml 21
You just depleted your brain with that comment, or care to have real reply?
effedUpandDown 13
I already commented but I just now saw that you had this follow up. I'm in the exact same boat! I had no idea that anybody else had gone through this! Doesn't make it any better, but still. I know how it feels...

Your fault. Stop having unrealistic standards, go out and interact with real people.
limabeans101029 21
That's a big assumption. Maybe s/he does interact with people and have realistic standards, but simply hasn't met the right person yet. Watching **** doesn't automatically make you a terrible person with no friends. Edit: Just saw the OP's comment.
