Today, I was working at a local restaurant when another server's table called me over to ask if I've "ever killed anybody". They informed me I looked like a serial killer. I informed them, of course, that I have never killed anybody. Another customer claimed I scared her child. I was fired. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was fired because a patron complained that she didn't like the way I kept staring at her kids. I was a lifeguard. FML
Today, after finally getting rid of an extremely rude, abusive customer, I muttered that I could kill people like her. I didn't know my manager had heard me, until a pair of police officers arrived. He'd reported me for "threatening to murder a customer". FML
Today, I was fired from my job because I would "scare" the customers. Two days ago, a coworker spilled fry oil onto the grill, causing flames to singe my eyebrows and the front of my hair off. FML
Today, I was fired from my job at a local family-ran restaurant. The Reason? The owner's daughter has been stealing money from the register little by little and has blamed me for all the lost money. The boss is still convinced it's me, though, because his daughter would "never tell a lie". FML
Today, a customer at work became violent and started hitting me and my coworker. Not wanting him to get the shit beat out of us, I used a move that pinned the guy on the ground. The police came and he was arrested. I was then fired for assaulting a customer. FML
Today, I was fired because my boss found out I had been looking for a new job. Then, I got a call from my only job prospect, saying I was overqualified and too young to work there as a waitress. FML
Today, I was fired from my job as a waitress, all because someone complained there was too much seasoning in their food. As I said, I'm a waitress. This happened the same week I was hired. FML
Today, despite filling all the parameters for a model employee and being praised by multiple people over the time I was working, I was fired because a client complained to my manager that I didn't seem to know what I was doing. FML
Today, I arrived at the pizza place I work at to find that I'd been fired. Apparently, the class stoner came in last night and not only demanded a free pizza, but also claimed that I always gave him one. I've never talked to this kid in my life, but my boss still doesn't believe me. FML
Today, I got fired from my job. I caught a customer taking pictures up my skirt, and my boss fired me for calling the police and "making a big deal out of it". FML

This is just so mean that I almost can't believe it. Who calls someone over to inform them that they look like a murderer? What did they expect you to say after asking if you've killed anyone, "Why, yes ma'am, I've murdered about 14 people. I target women wearing red on a full moon. Thanks for asking!"

Wow! What do you wear to work? Army fatigues; homey-boy outfits; biker-gang jackets? Lip and cheek piercing with chains? If you are in a service industry and manage to dress in a way that actually does scare little kids, then you do need to change that. People want nice, happy, *non-threatening* faces asking what they'd like to order. Not someone who looks like they just escaped from a crime-scene and makes their kids cry in fear. Of course if this isn't due to the way you dress, and they're just brainless customers (and it's not like they're a rare breed) whingeing about nothing then FYL - and that would also make your boss a "bend-me-over-and tell-me-when-to-scream" pillow-biter for letting brainless customers make his decisions for him.

I don't understand how there are so many of these "My boss fired me for something that makes little to no sense" Apparently, either the poster who is making it up or the real establishment has never heard of a thing called "unlawful termination lawsuit." Seriously, either sue the pants off your boss, or stop making stuff up.
