Today, I was reviewing for a major nursing school exam I have this week. I panicked because none of the material seemed familiar, and figured that I must've missed something during class and now had to catch up. After 4 hours, I finally realized that I'd been studying from the wrong textbook. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I just studied for 13.5 hours completely outlining a book for history. Thirty minutes before the test, I realized I had been reading the wrong book. FML
Time wasting
Today, after having spent all of last night studying for an algebra test, I find out that the test was on a completely different chapter of my textbook. FML
Today, I found out that I have been studying for the wrong final exam. One more hour until the test. FML
Pencils down
Today, I took an exam, for which I have been studying for weeks, I was confident at first, but then really struggled with it. I finished with about ten minutes to spare, turned to what I thought would be the end of my paper and found the first page of questions I was supposed to have answered. FML
Today, I checked over my notes from yesterday's midterm review so I could study for the test on Monday. It seems I was so exhausted, I'd done nothing but scribble unintelligibly all over the first page. FML
Today, I re-sat an expensive exam I'd flunked 6 months previously. The same impossible multiple choice questions appeared, which I'd been unable to find the answers to, even with all my textbooks and the internet. FML
Today, I took a major test, worth half my grade, not realizing that there were questions on the back of the sheet. FML
Panic stations!
Today, at 4 a.m., I remembered that I had not studied for my Spanish exam. I panicked, jumped out of bed, and frantically began searching for my notebook. It wasn't until I destroyed my desk and woke up my roommate that I realized that I'm not enrolled in Spanish this semester. It was a nightmare. FML
Not prepared enough
Today, I had a maths test and I realised that I'd studied the wrong topics. The teacher said the test would be difficult and I stayed up till 1 a.m. just to be prepared. FML
Today, after finishing a two hour essay exam that will determine the future of my career, I realized I misread the question. FML

It took you 4 hours to figure out you were studying the wrong textbook? Are you sure you have the observation skills necessary to be a nurse? "Yes Doctor, we've had him on the ventilators for 4 hours, but he keeps trying to fight us and remove the tubes". "Well nurse, she's in labor so I would imagine she doesn't really need the ventilator."

Well at least now you are a more knowledgable, well-rounded person...yeah I'm just kidding, that blows, but you probably should've launched a major investigation before 4 hours had passed

Missing something during class should not lead to studying 4 hours in a wrong textbook, I believe you deserve it for not knowing what you are studying.

Look at it this way, you might be prepared for future tests since you've already read the material.

Honestly, if you're that stupid, you shouldn't be working in medicine. It seriously took you that long to figure out that you've been reading the wrong textbook? Find another career.

Am I the only one who's a little concerned that it took them four hours to realize this? That doesn't necessarily sound like someone who I want in charge of giving me care!
