Today, I started taking my anxiety meds. Without them I can't function because I'm constantly fighting off panic attacks, but with them I can't function because I get crippling headaches and heartburn and feel tired all the time. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Tough choice
Today, I was prescribed medicine for anxiety. Without it, my stomach churns all day. With it, I shake uncontrollably and my eyes twitch. Now I have to choose between diarrhea and rude stares from people in public. FML
Today, I had a anxiety attack about taking my anxiety medicine. FML
Take your medication
Today, I’ve been getting my ass handed to me by my anxiety for nearly a year. I talked to my doctor about starting meds. I got so terrified of the possible side effects that I not only had an anxiety attack, I also had a panic attack. I still couldn’t bring myself to take the pills. FML
Today, I realized that acne is a major side effect of a medication I'm taking. The medication is to help me with my anxiety. The acne is creating more anxiety. And the more anxious I get, the more meds I need. And the more my face breaks out. FML
Get me out
Today, I realized that I needed a new job when I had to take anti-anxiety medication before meeting with my boss. Last time we met, I had a panic attack. FML
I know an old lady…
Today, I was prescribed medication to treat the headaches, caused by the medication to treat the lethargy, caused by the medication to treat my crippling nerve pain, without which I'd be stuck in a wheelchair. FML
Tough choice
Today, my new anxiety medicine fully entered my system. It makes me shit my brains out. I can either fart and risk shitting my pants every time or I can be too anxious to even enter a public place. FML
Today, my mom took away my medication. She's afraid I'll get "hooked". The medication is anti-anxiety pills. I have horrible anxiety attacks that sometimes cause me to scratch my arms until they bleed. FML
Bad trip
Today, I had to accept that my anxiety affects me 24/7, even when while I'm sleeping. I genuinely can't remember the last time I had a pleasant dream after falling asleep. FML
Today, thanks to a side effect from my medication, I'm suffering the longest mild panic attack I've ever had. I'm on day two and it shows no sign of letting up. FML

Sorry OP. Maybe try consulting with the prescribing doctor for an alternative solution

Try Indica weed not the sativa with no side effect aside from sleepy feeling

Honestly probably not be the best idea since you probably have a job that drug screens, but have you ever tried using cannabis?

I feel you OP. I had the migraines and sleepiness for a week or 2 while my body adjusted to my medication. I took it at night before bed instead of the morning like I was supposed to originally. Hang in there for a bit and if it doesn't get better try something new. Best wishes.

These don't seem to be working for you.. Have you tried cannabis? I'm a medical user and it helps my anxiety daily, and increases my motivation and thirst for life. I'd give it a shot if I were you.

Survival of the fittest...just saying...

That's not what that expression means. It includes social groups willing to help each other using intelligence and compassion, things you obviously lack.

I understand this, it's all about finding the right medication that doesn't make you feel sick. it took me a while. I hope you're doing OK :)

I feel for you! I have anxiety and depression, and the meds help but I suffer from chronic migraines. And apparently mono doesn't leave after a year so I'm tired all the time.
