Today, I received a housewarming gift from an easily offended friend of mine. I recently explained to her how terrible I am at keeping plants alive. What did she get me? An orchid. FML

She probably specifically chose an orchid as the plant to give you because they're extremely easy to keep alive. set it next to a window and water it once a week and it will be fine.

I give my orchids three ice cubes once a week and that satisfies them.

I don't know anything about plants. I would just accept then and then throw them away a the next garbage day
