Today, I missed a phone interview for a job at Telstra because Telstra's phone network was down. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
No plan B
Today, my phone randomly stopped working and I have three phone interviews. FML
Is there anybody out there?
Today, I had a phone interview, my first job interview in months. Two seconds in, I not only lost my signal, my phone froze up and stopped working completely. For six hours. FML
Today, I got let go from my job, because my personal cell phone doesn't always have signal, so I missed an important call from work. My contract specifically said I'd get a work phone, which never happened. FML
Today, I finally got a job interview, and I thought it went amazing. They were supposed to call me today or tomorrow with the news. Today is also the day that my phone company decided to cut my phone off. FML
Aced it
Today, my phone cut out during a call for a job interview. I tried calling them back, but there was no answer. Later, I got an email from the interviewer, saying I was no longer being considered for the position due to my being "rude and unprofessional." FML
Today, I finally got my phone and internet services reinstated after a billing mishap. During the week that I was without service, I had 3 requests for interviews and a position offer. None of those opportunities are still available. FML
Today, I got a missed call from a lady at an employment agency asking why I hadn't turned up to an information session for a potential job. Yesterday, the same lady told me the job position was canceled. FML
Today, after months of job searching, I finally got a call for an interview. Right in the middle of the call, my phone hung up so the music app could open. I tried calling them back and got no response. FML
Today, my hours got cut because I couldn't make it into work when they called me in. Why couldn't I make it in? I was in an interview for a better job. I didn't get the job. FML
Today, I had a job interview. I got there as quick as I could, having to travel two hours into a city I'd never been to. When I arrived, they told me I was turned down for being too late. They'd rescheduled the interview an hour earlier and I wasn't notified of the change. FML

I'm sure you can reschedule, don't stress about it

Oh, the irony. Well, hopefully your interviewer will understand the situation. You can reschedule! Good luck!

I don't know what Telstra is but I'd find pretty much if it was a phone company.

One does not simply redo a job opportunity with Telstra, there interviewers will be down.

If their networks were down they'll know about it and surely they'll understand you can't be held accountable. Hopefully you can reschedule, in which case, good luck!

That's a mitigating circumstance they will find hard to dispute. Hope it works out for you OP.

OP doesn't call them, the interviewer calls OP, and the interviewer couldn't do that, because of the outage.
