Today, I spent all day handing out flyers advertising my services as a psychic. I got only one call. The caller wanted to inform me that I had misspelt the word "psychic" on my flyer. She was right. FML
Today, my mom got pissed off at my doctor and called him a quack. She did this because he reassured her that I don't show any signs of the mental retardation that she's convinced herself I must have. FML
Today, I had to explain to a patient that no, her nipples were not slowly getting smaller. FML
Today, I had an irate patient scream at me to the point security had to be called for not printing out the pictures she wanted. I’m an on call ultrasound tech in the emergency department. She’s only about 7 weeks along and thought she was going to get a picture of a full-sized baby. FML
Today, the psychiatrist who I've been relying on to evaluate my condition to give me some real help, who I've been waiting on my appointment with for three months, suddenly rescheduled me until February next year. Why? Because she's "not working that day". I can't afford to see anyone else. FML
Today, I kindly explained to a client that she had calculated her CD interest wrong. She kindly responded that, as a nurse, she would never give me medical treatment if I was involved in a car accident. FML
Today, at work, I spent half an hour trying to convince an elderly customer that no, I wasn't a messenger sent by the devil to take her soul to hell. FML
Today, my mom reached the lowest point of her midlife crisis. She convinced herself she's psychic and grounded me for something she "knows" I'm going to do. FML
Today, my mother threw a fit because the psychologist she got me suggested I visit a psychiatrist. Apparently, it's my fault because I "choose" to be so "crazy". FML
Today, I spent half an hour on the phone with a woman who was yelling at the top of her lungs, sobbing uncontrollably, and hyperventilating. She also told me if she had a heart attack and died from crying, it was all my fault. Why? I told her she needed her receipt to have her TV repaired. FML

People get ultrasounds for reasons other than pregnancy. If she was pregnant she probably would have no issue getting an ultrasound, so I'm assuming she probably isn't.

That's because eugenics is generally selecting for a genetic, non-changeable trait (such as as Nazis selecting for blue eyes). Selecting for intelligence is different but still has its complications. The other problem is, how to stop people from having kids? Centuries old question. Can't have forced abortion when abortion itself is barely still legal, and forced surgeries to prevent getting pregnant? Not gonna happen. Especially since certain idiocies like this case can be just a phase and will pass.
