Today, I had to drink the most vile and disgusting medicinal treatments I could ever imagine. Then I had to drink it again when I threw up the first batch. FML

It was an expreimental treatment for Endometriosis. And it wasn't only the taste that was bad, it was how it made me feel. There were multiple portions of it, and some sizzled as they went down and stuff like that. The one that made me throw up made me feel like time stopped. I can't explain it, but it was like nothing was right. And it tasted horrible

Aww, this totally isn't a YDI! I know how you feel. I was in the hospital once and they gave me this awful stuff that they tried to sweeten with orange flavor. I threw it up after fifteen minutes of trying to chug it down. When you're sick and you have to force down something so bad that it'll come up again and make you feel worse, it sucks. FYL.

Been there, done that. I had to drink a dye before i got an MRI, and it was so disgusting, i can't even explain it. It was supposed to be "Fruits and Berries" flavored, but it just tasted like vomit.

The barium contrast that you must drink before an mri is AWFUL and becasue of what i have i must receive an mri every yr. FML

yuck. contrast dye is nasty. thank god when i got my MRI i didnt have to drink it, i got it in a vein, because they where checking my blood veins. but i could taste a metallic taste, felt like i peed on myself, and i started getting hot, which made me feel like i was going to barf, contrast dye is really nasty

this exact same thing happened to me. The doc knew beforehand that I hadn't been able to keep anything down for months, but made me do it anyway.

I feel your pain. This is why I stopped taking valium (or whatever that burgundy disgusting liquid they give you is) before surgery. It tastes so awful, and after taking it seven times, it's enough to make anybody vomit. You have my deepest sympathy and empathy.

I had to drink that barium crap for whatever scan it was I got. They didn't give me enough the first time (2 bottles) and didn't have time to wait for me to drink more. So I had to do it again a week later with 4 bottles. My poop was white.
