Today, I found out my sister-in-law is getting married. She is one of my best friends, and was my maid of honor when I got married. She's asked me to serve punch at hers. FML

Serve the punch, enjoy the evening. You don't have to do all the extra work that goes with being the maid of honour. There might be a sister or a closer family member (a sister of hers?) that got the job.

Stop being childish. Just because she's one of your best friends doesn't mean you're her best friend. She probably has friends that she's closer to and has known longer
