Maybe try writing out your feelings if you don't feel comfortable sharing them with others yet. It always helps me until I'm ready to come out and actually discuss things with someone.

it shouldn't be based on your nationality because I had a teacher that was British, and she would never shut up about her problems. it's just different types of people. ex. introverts & extroverts
