Today, at 12, I went for a run across campus. Why? I'd realized my 12:30 exam was actually at 12. FML

Today, I woke up at 5 and studied for my 9:30am exam for 4 hours. When I left my dorm at 9, it was dark outside. Turns out I slept through the entire day and woke up at 5pm. FML
Today, I ran 5 miles to catch the bus I take to university after missing my connection. When I got to the bus stop, I realized I had left my U-Pass on my desk at home. On top of the assignment that was due. FML
Today, I found out that I have been studying for the wrong final exam. One more hour until the test. FML
Today, I got up and walked to college for my only class which started at 9 a.m. after a night of restless sleep. Our exam is two weeks away, so I thought it would be better to attend. Apparently, my teacher thought differently. FML
Today, after studying all night for an exam, I ran out to catch the bus. On my way to the bus, my hair got caught in a branch for some minutes. Thinking I'd missed the bus but thankfully didn't, I went on. A few minutes later I remembered that my exam had been postponed for 3 hours today. FML
Today, I reached my exam center late after taking the wrong metro twice, only to find out that I forgot my calculator at home. FML
Today, I was mugged on my way to the bus stop. With no money or mobile, I started to panic about the exam I had, and ran the 3.5 miles to get to there. When I staggered up to the building only 20 minutes after the exam started, the university staff wouldn't let me sit it as I couldn't prove my identity. FML
Today, I had to go meet my professor at 12. I wound up showing up almost an hour late. Why? Because she doesn't teach at the campus I registered at. I wound up having to visit TWO different campuses before I reached the right one. FML
Today, I had to get to class at 9:00 to take a test. I woke up at 6:00, and figured I could wait a few minutes before getting ready. The next thing I knew, it was 10:30. FML
Today, I had a big exam. Twenty minutes in I could feel people turning round looking at me. I ignored them at first, but towards the one hour mark it got more distracting. I stood up and yelled, "Why's everyone staring at me!" I got kicked out. Turns out I was seated directly in front of the clock. FML

How could you forget the actual time? College exams are given, in class, during regular class times. If the class starting time was 12:00, why would you think the exam was at 12:30?

not all exams are during class time. my finals are set at times that have zero relation to the normal class time

Agree. All my final exams for uni were at either 8am or 9am and most of my lectures were scheduled somewhere between 9am and 2pm with the occasional outlier at 8am or 7pm. I think the only exams which lined up with their class time was for subjects where the lecture was at 8am. This is a straight YDI for not keeping track of your exam times correctly.

Sometimes our professors that taught multiple sections would have all the students take the exam during the earliest section, so on exam days class would be earlier than usual. It happens
