Today, my sister decided to have her baby shower on my birthday. I recently had a miscarriage and she knows this. FML
Today, my mother-in-law had a bitch fit because I had a miscarriage and my husband and I are having a difficult time. It’s her birthday and she said I should, “stop being an attention-hogging drama queen” and that, “shit happens, get over it” She doesn’t see what's wrong with her statements. FML
Today, my mother in-law made dessert. It was a beautiful chocolate cake, chocolate cookies, and every other thing had chocolate in it. I'm deathly allergic to chocolate and she knows this. FML
Today, I woke up early and spent hours baking and icing a three-tier cake for my friend's eighteenth birthday, which is this evening. I just found out my mother threw it in the compost bin because she's on a diet and it was "tempting" her. FML
Today, I bumped into an old school friend. I'd heard she was pregnant so the first thing I did was congratulate her. Not only was she not pregnant, but the reason she managed to get so fat was because of comfort eating due to her miscarriage last month. FML
Today, my husband and I sat our 8 year-old son down and gently explained to him that I had a miscarriage and he won't be having a little brother or sister after all. He responded by dancing around the room and celebrating. FML
Today, my sister announced her pregnancy at my husband's funeral. FML
Today, my mother excitedly jumped up and down, announcing that one of her sweet younger coworkers got engaged. I wished she'd had the same reaction to my engagement when I announced it to her a few days earlier. FML
Today, it was my mother’s birthday. I was on my way to pick up her cake but I got into a car accident and ended up in the emergency room. When I call her to explain what happened, she called me an useless fuck for ruining her birthday by not bringing the cake. She’s yet to ask if I'm okay. FML
Today, a week after my miscarriage, my little sister thought it appropriate to wrap her belt around her neck and scream, "Hey look, it's your baby!" FML

For some reason I get the feeling she's not mentally stable or is hard of hearing. Some people cook for others to help them feel better. It's like, "don't cry, here have some cookies!" (chocolate makes everyone feel better) I don't know why anyone would celebrate a miscarriage, especially if he/she was their future grandchild, it doesn't make sense. Sorry about the miscarriage, if it helps you feel little better miscarriages often occur because of deformations in the embryo or fetus so if he/she was born then he/she might've suffered greatly or wouldn't have been able to survive. It doesn't change that it's painful, especially because you may never know what went wrong. Hopefully you'll heal and be able to give birth to happy, healthy baby next time. Before you try and get pregnant again, if you can, find out why it happened so you can prevent or reduce the risk of it happening next time.

I'm serious when I say this guys so here it goes. Is there any way it was more of a "stuff upper lip" kinda thing and she was just trying to distract herself? Even if it was a slight word of condolence should have been tossed in.

She was just celebrating your entering into the reality of motherhood. I've yet to be told by any mother that she has never lost a baby. I doubt everyone's had a miscarriage, but it's more than you know. Now you know. So congratulations and enjoy that cake. And quit moping. If people with severe problems can bear three children, you can try again.

That's horrible what is wrong with her ! She should be asking you if your ok and doesn't she want grand children in the future . If yes she shouldn't be acting that way cuz who knows you get a child and decide not to let them me their grand ma because she was not nice
