Today, I got a really bad sunburn on my face while at the lake. Not to worry, though; my friends made me feel better by saying, "It takes the attention away from your acne." FML

Thats better than what happened to me..I got burned so badly over the summer..but not only that i wore sunglasses & it developed into one of the worst raccoon bUrns. Everyone from now on, refers to me as "Raccoon Girl" . I suggest you put some aloe on that burn, btw. Hope it gets better!

55 I think OP was being sarcastic because they said it to make her feel better but it only made her feel worse. And OP, you should take a trip to the drugstore and get some products for your skin!! Sun screen, aloe vera, face wash, toner, mask, moisturizer etc. You don't want to look 30 when your twenty!!! That's so not hot *said in Paris Hilton voice imitation*

OP, that is no where near as bad as what happened to me a few years ago. Before the military, I lived in the Florida keys. One day I took my boat out to a "deserted" island in the the morning. After exploring the island, I came back to find my boat stolen. I spent the next 17 hours on the island on a blistering hot day. When I was finally rescued, I had 3rd degree sunburns on my face and chest. My face was yellow with blisters and I was sent to the ER.

My face is the only place I've ever gotten a sunburn. I feel your pain, OP. Find the least scented & irritating sunblock and coat your whole face next time. Very little is more painful than smiling with sunburnt cheeks.

My sister always gets burned but just stay out of the sun for a while and put a lot of aloe on oh and bath in cold water for about a week I'm a nurse and if this doesnt make it go away I'm praying for you sunburns hurt

I have this crazy hippy friend who is a big fan of all natural treatments. He swears that Aloe Vera helped cure his acne (in addition to honey and a bunch of other crap), lol. So... Personally I enjoy my differn. My face is flawless, w00t
