The FML community's curiosity demands to know who this "everyone" is! Was it your family members? Close common friends? Nobodies? Or a mix of all three?
I was wondering the same thing. "Everyone" tends to exaggerate what is really around 2 people in my experience. But I'm wondering if it was some friends, strangers or family.

I agree if it was family and you'd been going out for 5 months maybe she didn't want to introduce you yet but after a year comeon.... OP you should clarify your relationship with her before you get really hurt
