Today, I lost my job to the individual I just finished training. Within 2 hours after being escorted out, my old boss called and yelled at me for doing a lousy job. He was angry that the training was deficient and because the new person is as bad as I was. FML

Today, I was let go at work. About 2 years ago, we had hired an eager-to-learn "assistant" for me. When they canned me, they let me know that I should've trained him faster so I could've been fired sooner. FML
Today, I got fired from my dream job. I found out today that the girl who trained me lied and taught me how to do things wrong, so that when she got back from maternity leave, she could get me fired and take her job back. My new coworkers were in on her plan from the beginning. FML
Today, my new supervisor arrived after my old one had transferred away and we had a quick evaluation meeting. As it turns out, I'm not actually a good employee like I thought. I just had a shitty boss who didn't care enough to let me know I wasn't meeting company standards. FML
Today, fifteen minutes before the end of the day, my boss asked me who I was training to replace me. He then said never mind, that it was his job to choose someone. I hadn't indicated that I was planning on leaving the company. FML
Today, my new manager, who I have spent the last three months training, had a managers' meeting and now won't be returning. FML
Today, I started a new yard maintenance job. Before the day had even ended, I got fired, because I apparently didn’t have enough experience, and I moved too slowly. It was supposed to be my training day. FML
Today, my boss fired me because I corrected him after he misspoke during a meeting. FML
Today, my boss called me into his office. After yelling and firing me, his assistant comes in telling him he had mistaken me for someone else. He did not give me my job back, as he claimed it would make an awkward work environment. FML
Today, my boss found out I had applied for a much better paying job. He told me I'd do a better job and make more money there. Then he fired me. FML
Today, I finished my last day of job training. At the beginning, the boss had told us to ask as many questions as possible. I was fired because I asked too many questions. FML

They hired someone to replace you because they didn't think you did a good job, and they got you to train the new person on how to do the job? That just sounds like terrible management to me. If they didn't like how you did the job they shouldn't get you to train someone else. Additionally, it's not your job to train anyone how to do their job.

We need more info OP: How long had you been working there? What was your job? Did anyone ever complain about your job performance or give you a job review? Did you have a personality conflict with anyone at work? Was your training lacking too and if so did you tell your boss during that phone call? Is there a coworker you can talk to confidentially to see what you could've done differently or what specifically you were doing wrong? (To improve on for your next job) It's a shame your boss didn't give you any specific reasons as to why he thought you were so terrible at your job and why he didn't even want to try to help you improve he just wanted you gone.
