Today, while doing my job as a cart clerk, a gentleman went around the parking lot and picked some trash up, trying to help out. Faith in humanity: + 1. About an hour later, I saw a woman pick a bug off of her windshield and eat it. Faith in humanity: - 200. FML

So cart clerk is a job? Faith in the US: -1.

106- It is actually, cart clerks generally have the job of being a bagger too. I would know, I was one myself. Pushing carts isnt all that bad, its awful in the dead of summer and winter. Its ok OP, its easy to lose faith in people these days while having a crummy job as a cart clerk.

Your comment : Call me stupid, but what the hell is "faith in humanity" (dont give me the deffinition, I know what humanity is) and the points? Is it some new hype?

Pretty straightforward. It's how much faith someone has in the future of the human race, based on their actions and words. The points are representing the gain and loss of said faith. How is that so hard to understand?

Um, dude, that isn't the worst thing. seriously, you have no scale of faith in humanity. There are countries that use bugs as a protein staple. and someone helped clean up and that is whipped away by one strange person?

Well.. That's an overall score of -199.. Pretty good for a days work these days, it's when we get into the -1000 range that we start worrying

Dont hate! In another country that bug couldve been a delicacy :)
