Today, apparently when you tell a hairdresser, "A little off the sides," they hear, "A bowl cut please, and make it look extra stupid." FML

Always bring a picture of the result you want. That way you can show them what you want. If the screw it up, you can have a chat with their manager on how well they cut hair.

And then you cry inside because you are powerless to do anything when they chop off most of your hair in one snip.
