Urg. So many people giving advice who don't know what they're talking about!!!!!!! *headdeskheaddeskheaddesk*
did you ever stop to think that these people are giving advice because it has worked for them, not all bodies react the same. there are alot of different ways to workout not just the way your husband says. people aren't going to give advice that didn't work for them.
i am confused too
that's what you get fatty!!
@reyshinesutting-each cert depends on the person that has it-ACE are required to be insured;cuts down on dangerous bs possibilities. I'm not just sleeping with a trainer-I am one, and I competed and I do know what I'm talking about. Losing is different for each person, so OP needs a trainer
My fiance's best friend got certified through ACE. He lived with us for 8 months so we saw the whole process. My fiance compared all the ACE crap to NASM crap and the difference was ridiculous. I agree that OP probably should get a trainer but I'd be wary of ACE trainers just from seeing my fiance's friend and other ACE trainers at our old gym that were clueless. I'm not trying to offend ACE trainers, I just think the ACE program is pretty crappy.
@reyshinecutting:I'm not sleeping with a trainer-I am one, and I competed and I know what I am talking about-different things work for different ppl so OP should get someone with some education to work with one on one. Someone tested and insured would b best.
thank you that's what I said except I'm not a personal trainer lol
If you pigged out at a buffet, of course you would put on weight. If you stop eating when you are full (and people rarely due at buffets) then you wouldn't have put on weight. Next time order something small, stupid! I managed to lose 30 pounds just by eating slowly, and stopping when I'm full... no diet required. P.S. Make sure you are in your target heart rate zone. Otherwise being on the treadmill does very little.

How long have you been on your new diet/workout plan? Have you been keeping track of your measurements? You do know new muscle weighs more than lost fat, right? and if you weighed yourself the same day as your buffet, the added weight is just food in your intestines. Why do people always associate successful health plans with numbers on a scale?
How long have you been dieting? If you really haven't lost any weight perhaps you should see a doctor.
