Who said it was abstinence only education that those boys were getting? perhaps it's a weekly thing and that seminar was on the option of abstinence. I don't think it was stupid! sorry you flashed the teenaged boys :)
Maybe they should be more informative about protection in sex ed. I agree #139. There is nothing wrong in teaching abstinence. This woman shouldn't be blasted and made fun of for teaching something that is right. Abstinence is 100% effective against pregnancies, STD, and emotional strain. Young people should be taught that its alright to wait along with modes of protection. Though, its a shame that most people here don't see that abstinence is a valuable virtue that should still be taught to adolescents and young adults.
YDI for advocating abstinence. Useful information on how to protect against STDs and pregnancy is far more effective. Teenagers will ALWAYS have sex.
