Today, I was dumped by my boyfriend of almost a year because he was no longer sexually attracted to me because I'm "overweight," even though I only weigh 130 pounds. Afterward I went to my friend's house and sat in an old wooden chair. It broke into pieces as soon as I sat down. FML

First of all, he is a jerk for dumping you like that. He was just so tactless. He could have stated it in a better and less-offending way. Second, don't listen to what people say about your weight. This might sound REALLY cheesy, but whether you weigh 130 pounds or less or more, you are beautiful and there's someone out there who is right for you...just not THAT guy.

dont think anything of the chair incident, it was probroly reallly old because 130 is not overweight. your boyfriend is an ass

I'm 14 and weigh almost 200 lbs. You're not fat :)

It's pretty ridiculous seeing a lot of the comments on this page. I'm not sure why I'm even commenting when I know the demographic responding to this post quite obviously consists of terribly uneducated preteens attempting to boost their self-esteem by mocking others. Weight cannot be used to judge someone's figure or health. BMI cannot be used to judge someone's figure or health. Muscle weighs a lot more than fat. Someone who is physically fit is going to weigh a lot more than someone the same size who is nothing but flab. I'm 5'1. I weigh around 140 lbs. I'm a size 2/3. I've spent my life as a gymnast, martial artist, and junior Olympian. Most women I've met who have the same height and weight as me are a size 14. Most women I've met who are the same clothing size as me weigh around 30 lbs less than I do. Moral of the story? Unless someone wants to give you their exact body measurements online, you have no right to comment on their figure. Doing so just makes you look like the ignorant attention-seeking bunch that you are.

It all depends how tall she is and she might be big-boned. There is a difference you know.

How sweet! Is this your way asking women on a date?

Not nessicarily. It depends on the age. For a 5'6 teenage girl the average weight should be between 120 -140 lbs.
