o that sucks. But, if he thought that you were fat, then i think you are better off without him. No relationship is worth it if it does not make you feel good-in every aspect. That could have spiraled out of control into abuse.
are you suuuure you're only 130 ?
if its an old chair then thats prob why it broke and it was just bad timing dont let it get to ya
So many people in this thread have such unrealistic views about these things. As has been said, over and over, it's about muscle/fat ratios. Also, attractiveness is only initially about looks. After that, it's all about personality. However, the emotional AND physical parts of a relationship are important (love is not just an emotional "he'll love you if you're 2000 pounds"), and your boyfriend was a jerk for not trying to talk this through with you. If he really cared, he wouldn't have jumped right to judging you and giving up on you, and would have tried to work something out. I know from personal experience. You're better off without him, but I'm sure you already know that. Go wear something fabulous and bat your eyes at some hot guys.
**** all of you. A GREAT majority of you don't know SHIT about what is healthy and what isn't. it's so different for everyone. something personal about myself, I'm 5'5", I've been 145 pounds and I've been 95 pounds. So all of you know, for my height, 145 pounds is just barely considered overweight by BMI and 95 pounds is deathly underweight, especially because I have a high bone density so a lot of my weight is in my bones. maybe I'm getting too serious about a stupid FML, but the weight issue hits really close to home with me. I don't know any of you people, so I don't care what you know about me, plus it was obvious when I was at my lowest weight, that I have suffered from anorexia and been in inpatient treatment for it three times (I'm doing fine now, my weight fluctuates between 120 and 125, and though I feel I'm fat, my treatment team says I'm as healthy as healthy can be as far as weight is concerned.) I'm not using this to play the sympathy card, I'm saying I know my shit after three hospitalizations. I can say for sure that being 5'7" and under 100 pounds is not healthy under any circumstances. The BMI scale is generally a fairly decent gauge of what weight is healthy and what is not, granted, it is a RANGE, and the lowest weight in the range may be healthiest for one person and the highest may be healthiest for another, with the low number being sickly for that person. The BMI scale is flawed, however, in that very athletic people in peak healthy condition may register as "overweight" or even "obese" because muscle weighs more than fat. My treatment team figured out my healthy weight using the BMI scale. They figured they would make me gain the 30 pounds and then, after a year or so, if my body was meant to be 115 or 135, it would end up ther (my setpoint.) If you have any speculations about whether someone is "healthy," "overweight," or "underweight," talk to me about it. I know more about it than almost all of you. And I'm not an arrogant person. It's just that, when it comes to weight and nutrition, I've had enough groups on it to know my shit.
I agree. Hell, half these people aren't even using something as independible as the BMI chart to make their judgments, just pulling random numbers out of their asses. Throwing out random numbers doesn't really help anyone either. =/ *waits to be called fattie*
All depends on height. 130 pounds is no problem if you are over 6 feet. I'm 5'7" and I've never had a girl friend over 110 but I've never dated a girl taller than me. Current GF is 5'5" and about 105... I think that's about right.
