What is this?

Today, I went to the store for a warranty claim on my prescription glasses due to little spots that had appeared on the lenses, covering both. It took 2 seconds for the employee to determine that it was hairspray. FML

Why would they sell you glasses with hairspray on them? Hahaha, I mean, certainly, you don't use hair spray and are dumb enough to blame them for your . . . oh. Do you want a cookie? I've been told we're supposed to be nice to you people and not use the R-word anymore.

Never thought to clean your glasses huh OP?

I like how spots appear on your glasses and your first choice of action is to make a warranty claim rather than, I don't know...try cleaning them?

Clean your glasses with windex on coffee filter. Windex is meant for cleaning glass and tissues and paper towels can leave white dust on them. This is also a great way to clean a touchscreen phone.

this! even give them a shot of hot water to soften whatever's on there.

Everyone keeps saying some version of "never thought of cleaning them?" when really, dried hairspray is very difficult to clean off of glasses...

Didn't you try cleaning them before you went?

There is this thing called 'cleaning your glasses'. Just thought you might need to know that.
