Sounds like you need a new workplace, my friend.
There is nothing wrong with them for that. Let them express their emotions. And fyi, it is very devastating that ZAYN* left because now the group won't be the same.
Thank you! For once someone understands!

nothing stays the same...kinetic motion, and all that!
March 25, 2015. The day millions of hearts broke at the same time.
HEY SHUT UP!
Well, i'm glad you feel that way at least. It needed to happen...rip 1D
Wait they're still around? Jesus ****, why should people care? I mean, I was sad when Roy Khan left Kamelot, and both Nightwish vocalists leaving were saddening, (Sorry Floor, I really just don't feel the passion with you I got from either Tarja or Anette) but... it's not like you can't listen to multiple bands. If your life, even your music life, revolves solely around one band you're in trouble. Bands that last more than a decade are the exception, not the rule.
I don't listen to them, I just wanted to as that Zayn is incredibly easy on the eyes. If he leaves, I'd be disappointed for shallow reasons.
Honestly, OP, I have no sympathy for you. I don't like One Direction, either, but I respect people's right to listen to whatever music they like and discuss it whenever they want. Describing yourself as a "pacifist" is laughable if that was your genuine reaction. May I suggest getting into anger management if that's the case?
Yes, me exact thoughts. Who cares if they talk about it, there are lots of conversations that you wish you didn't have to hear at work and lots of people you don't really want to be around, are you going to beat all of them up too?
I don't like one direction either but honestly if you can't handle people talking about them, even if it is whining, without having violent desires and posting about them online I would think that you, OP, need the help and not some adults who like a certain type of music.
