Content almost refused by staff

Today, my wife kept bragging about this awesome date we were gonna have later watching the Billboard Awards. She even convinced me to leave our friends cookout early to get it started. Then, forty-five minutes into the awards, she's turned over and snoring. FML.

Your wife had grand visions of spending quality time with you, that's a good thing! When I used to work 60+ hour weeks, I'm ashamed to say that I did this to my husband a lot. I missed him and wanted to be close to him, but I was so exhausted from my demanding job that I just couldn't keep up with it all. He was a good sport and understood though, instead of posting an FML about it. Sorry you missed out on having fun with your friends I guess...
