Today, my parents invited all their kids and grandkids to join them on a vacation trip to the mountains; all their kids except me, that is. I'm not invited. But they did invite my ex-husband. And his new girlfriend. FML

Today, I was told I'm not invited to my best friend's birthday party. Apparently, being divorced and childless doesn't "mesh" well with the rest of the group. My parents are still watching her kids so she can go away for the weekend. FML

Today, there's a family reunion in my parents' backyard. I'm not invited because my Mom, Dad, Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents are upset that I'm divorcing my ex-husband. Apparently, trying to kill me doesn't matter since he's funny, always made excellent barbecue chicken in past reunions, and everybody loves him. FML

I have a question. Why's he your ex? Maybe if he was a great guy and you cheated on him or something, perhaps they like him more than you. My friend's ex in-laws like him more than their daughter, he's a great guy and she became a total ***** and cheated on him with her workmates. That may be a bit extreme in your case, but in the end, perhaps they like him more than you.
