I agree with #45 I bet she was being playful and if you'd done it back it probably would have led somewhere. I tease my boyfriend occasionally, he does it to me all the time. It's fun, keeps things interesting, and generally ends in a good time. Just gotta learn to roll with the punches, you'll have more fun if you do. My only other possible explanation for this is that (and this is assuming you guys are pretty young or not been dating long/haven't been physical long) is that she really was gonna do it but chickened out and wasn't very tactful about how she backed out. When I first started getting sexually involved I'd often find myself wanting to do something in the heat of the moment and then chickening out when I finally started to go through with it. Depending on the person sometimes it takes a little while to get comfortable sexually (even if she's done said action before, it doesn't necessarily make the act a breeze, and sometimes being the one initiating it can be nerve racking). If that's the case be nice about it and encouraging her is never a bad thing. I mean I know I'm going totally off on a limb with this explanation but one never knows, even if she is older and sexually active there's always a possibility she has some intimacy issues and is having trouble getting past them. But of course I still think the first explanation is more likely. Lighten up! Have fun!

wow, some of you are getting way too worked up over this (like #13 and #52). She's just playing around with him, boyfriends/girlfriends tease each other all the time in relationships. I do stuff like that to my boyfriend all the time, and he does it right back to me. Chances are he got some eventually that day, so relax!
