Today, I was performing in the musical 'Cabaret'. I was playing a Nazi soldier, swastika armband and all. Someone thought it would be funny to take my real clothes while I was on stage. I had to walk a mile back my house with my costume on. Someone threw eggs at me. FML

Today, I had a theatre performance. I had to put on a lot of makeup for the role, and one of the guys said I looked nice. I smiled and said thanks. Seconds later, I'd been sucker-punched by his girlfriend for "flirting" with her man. FML

Today, I had a graded performance in my drama class. I had to play a murderer in an interrogation room. I got really into it and started pounding on the windows to try to "escape". The thin glass smashed. Four hours in casualty, stitches and plastic surgery pretty much sum up my mood. FML

Hey, this isn't so bad. If I was in that situation, I wouldn't care...but those people shouldn't have thrown eggs at you! You lot have the First Amendment after all, and you weren't doing anything else which could have offended someone. They ruined a lovely costume. :( -SeaGhile

Is it really that hard to cover up the arm-band? I'm assuming it was sewn on else you could've just taken it off, but just borrow a scarf or something from backstage and wrap it round the band, it normally doesn't take much to turn a uniform into something that looks a bit more casual,

You're lucky the Wehrmacht has some of the best uniforms I've seen, and if it was SS, those where designed by a famous fashion designer (whose name escapes me) anyway I love to own a German uniform (For historical/ reenactment purposes) Anyway, sucks you and your clothes got pelted by eggs.

Just wondering, but where'd you read/hear that? I've studied WW2 for a few years (for fun of course), and I've never seen that anywhere. I could have missed it of course, but.... That is very interesting though, I never knew that. (^_^)
