To me that reads op's daughter is pregnant with the man who would effectively be her step grandfather's child. So the child will be their own grand parent, just like the song.

"My pregnant child" being the OP's child who is pregnant with OP's father-in-law. That is how it reads to me. Is your child old enough to consent? And was this non-consensual? You should see about going after him in court.

If the fetus was conceived under non- consensual circumstances, you have my condolences, hope you have multiple options open to you, and that your boyfriend doesn't blame you. If you willingly cheated, you deserve to feel guilty about it and for your boyfriend to leave you. There's no valid "reason" to cheat on someone, and that you did says some very blunt things about your lack of morals and quality as a human. No excuses could justify what you did. If you somehow had sex with your boyfriend's dad before you were dating him and didn't know he was your boyfriend's dad... you have some shitty luck.

It wasn't OP, OP's boyfriend's dad raped OP's daughter (seeing as OP refers to the daughter as a child) and got her (the daughter) pregnant.

Having reread the post several times, I now believe that you are correct. For some reason, I thought OP was you "pregnant child" as a way of saying the child she was pregnant with. Which is my mistake.

Considering I've tried to post this comment three or four times as a reply to my comment above, I'm saying "**** it!" and putting it here. After several rereads, I now understand that OP meant they were with their child to have the child's baby looked at in the womb. For some reason, I thought they were using an unusual way of saying that they (OP) were pregnant.
