Today, I just remembered that I changed my Gmail display name to "Rice Ball" out of privacy-paranoia a while back. I've been using this same email to apply to several professional jobs. FML

How did you screw up so bad?
Today, after I made a new Google/YouTube account a couple of weeks ago, I failed to realize that the name I made on YouTube also relates back to my Gmail. I've been sending professional, work-related emails under the name of "Poop McNugget." FML
Today, I was emailing a government employee at the place I'm hoping to get hired by. I realized too late I had been emailing her with my personal email address, which is rather jokey and unprofessional. She noticed and started referring to me as that. FML
Who am I?
Today, I think I've figured out why I haven't had any replies to my job applications, or just weird ones. I was sending them from an old email address, which is something like "69_party_dude_420@…" (that's not the actual address, so don't @ me!) instead of my professional one, which is listed on my CV. FML
Fancy Hobo
Today, I changed my name on YouTube to Fancy Hobo and then sent an email to a well-admired professor. Little did I know my email was linked to YouTube. Yes, Fancy Hobo sent a very professional email about registration for grad school. FML
Whoops
Today, I had a very important video call for my job. I hadn’t used the particular app in a long time so I hadn’t checked my screen name. Turns out the last time I used it was in March with my friends, and my name was "Euro Slut." My employers saw it. FML
Today, I realized that the guy I've been sending anonymous, dirty emails to knows who I am. My signature, which includes my full name, was automatically added to the end of every email. FML
Today, I emailed my crush an anonymous love letter. It wasn't until twenty minutes later that I realized that the email address I used contained my full name. FML
Introvert moment
Today, I worked up the courage to order coffee on my own instead of using the app. When the barista asked, “Name?” I froze and blurted out my email address. They called out my full name plus numbers and I had to claim it like that was normal. FML
Today, I felt like adding my real middle name to my facebook name to make it look more professional. It was denied because they didn't feel it was a legitimate request. Minutes later, someone with the name of "Galactic Toast" friend requested me. FML
Today, I accidentally emailed the entire company everyone's salary, sales history, and the names of four people I intended to fire. FML

Simply redo the email and send those companies the new information. Problem solved. Or continue to be known as a tasty oriental cuisine. Both have advantages.

U shudve tried Mike Hunt or Jacques Strap or Seymour Butz
TourettesGuyFTW 25
Or Hugh Janus.
perdix 29
Or Phil McCracken. (I like that one because it sounds like a real name, like Mike Hunt. I don't know to many guys named Hugh and I've never heard of the last name Jass.)
TourettesGuyFTW 25
Hugh Laurie (a.k.a. House?!), Hugh Grant (idiot), Hugh Heffner (pimp), Hugh F-W (English chef), Hugh Wantmetocontinue? (a pun). Also, I said Janus, not Jass :p

Ben Dover?

#33, the Hughs are all Brits or really ancient men. I like the name Hugh Jass, and Hugh G. Rection, but those are quite contrived. In the US, it's going to be tricky to get anyone to fall for one of the Hugh-based fake names.
monnanon 13
hugh heffner is not a brit last time i checked.
perdix 29
#47, yes, Hugh Hefner goes into the "really ancient men" category. Please read my comments carefully before busting my hump. Noor already busted me today on a your/you're ****-up. I do care about comment quality.
TourettesGuyFTW 25
I think Heffner has 2 f's. I think.

Just say your a big fan of Rice University collegiate baseball. We have a very good team and often go to the College World Series. Go Owls!! If that fails, you will be rejected for your anti-Asian racism.

#13, aw, too late. Hey, I just got my engineering degree from there, so they can't expect too much from my grammar ;)
