Serves you right for choosing such a "practical" haircut.
24 Where do you get that the school was concerned because she had two daddies? I work in a school and we would have called home in this situation even if the "two daddies" part had never been said. Any time a child indicates a significant change in the family the school calls home - any divorce, new stepparent, new girlfriend/boyfriend moving in, etc. Gay or straight it doesn't matter. This way the parents know their child can see the guidance counselor, the parents and school can talk to each other about changes in the child's personality/mood that could be related to the change, and the teacher can make sure to not bring up/re-direct situations that would upset the child. IE you wouldn't read "I'll love you forever" to your class, the week after a students mother had moved out of her home, even if she hadn't been replaced by a daddy Would you want your child punished/yelled at because she was too upset over the loss of her mommy to do her classwork? That would happen if the school just ignored the situation when they had reason to believe that the child's mommy left. School wouldn't be welcoming to her at all. And so home would be bad because mommy was gone, and school would be bad because she was getting in trouble for being upset over the loss of her mommy
This is why women need to have long hair. Short hair on a woman is E-P-I-C F-A-I-L.
Why the hell is it any of their business to call you over that?
your daughter's a little asshole
Just like to point out, the OP probably looks good with short hair. Many women do. If you believe that long hair is ALWAYS attractive and short is NEVER attractive, then you're very wrong. It's the shape of the face that makes the difference. Long hair can look stunning on a lot of girls, but with some girls it just makes them look like hippies or unclean. Short hair looks great for girls with rounder faces, and many guys do like short hair just as much as long. Plus although it's amusing that the daughter thinks she has 2 daddies now, the little girl is only 5. Unless a child is exposed to women with short hair when they're that age, they will believe that by just getting a haircut will change a person's gender. It's what they're exposed to all the time on TV; all female characters have long hair, all males have short.
Whats this world coming too, kids these days need to learn respect(I say this as a 19yo college student)
Thats the cutest thing I ever heard.
