Today, my boyfriend and I had sex for the first time in over a week, because I had been having weird cramps. Afterwards, I was experiencing the worst pain I’ve felt in my entire life, so we went to the ER. Turns out my cramping was from an ovarian cyst, and having sex made it rupture. FML

Today, I was rushed to the emergency room in crippling pain, thanks to a very dangerous cluster of cysts on my ovaries that could rupture at any time. My boyfriend took this news as my way of denying him sex and broke up with me for "going to obscene lengths" to emasculate him. FML

Kind of been in that position... Didn't do the deed for a while, did the deed and pain happened. After two months of pain (normally ovarian cysts subside in a couple of weeks) I finally went in and had some ultrasounds done. My ovary was 3x the size of the other one and hemorrhaging which explains the pain. Hormonal birth control stops the cysts since they are formed by ovulation. Go figure. Sorry, OP! :/

Did you know about the cyst before having sex? If so YDI as you knew the consequences that could occur, if not the FYL that's horrible and I hope this hasn't traumatised your sex life for life
