Today, I fell and got a nasty cut above my right eye. The doctor in the ER sealed the wound with surgical glue. He also glued his glove to my eyebrow, and let glue run onto my eyelid. Not only do I have a scar and medical bill, I now have no eyebrow or eyelashes on my right eye. FML

Today, I went to get my hair done. The hairdresser managed to catch my eyebrow piercing in his comb and almost rip it out. I now look like I have a gunshot wound on the upper right hand side of my face. I'm getting married in a matter of hours, and I still had to pay £100 for the hair cut. FML

You do not have a scar. You have a wound that is closed with surgical glue. The wound has to heal before it can form a scar. You went to get the wound closed, and it was. You might not even end up with a scar, and the brows and eyelashes will grow back.

surgical glue is super glue. exactly the same. it was invented during the Vietnam war to fix minor injuries that would otherwise need stitches. When I get nasty cuts I just glue them shut with super glue myself instead of wasting 8 hours at the hospital and hundreds of dollars.

Hundreds of dollars?!? Jeeze! I knew you guys had to pay for your medical care, but a couple hundred bucks to get a dude to put crazy glue on your face? Shit.
