I'm gonna take a wild guess and say this isn't an FML at all. Maybe the guy she thought it was was the OP, and now OP and girl are going out.

I'm kind of half and half on this one: FYL because I can understand the mindset that: "Oh, if I do something spontaneous and mysterious, she'll appreciate it." It's kind of like the secret admirer concept.. It's fun for both parties and I can understand doing it IF you already have talked to her/shown your feelings. If you did it solely because you were afraid to talk to her, that's horrble and YDI, but if you did it just to be a little creative (while cliche) then FYL. However, you deserve it for not telling her that the flowers were really from you. Don't be a whimp and let that guy walk all over your gesture. Also, have a backup plan to show her who did it in the first place.. Put in some sort of inside-joke or something. I don't think you giving the roses anonymously demonstrates that you don't have a pair, but the fact that you didn't stand up for yourself does.
