Today, I bleached my hair for the new school year. Instead of blonde, it came out orange, making my hair look like a bloated pumpkin. FML

Ahhh...yeah, that happened to me. I was at the salon, and the woman cutting my hair said the bleach might be too much for my scalp, so we tried the lightest blonde dye. Sure enough, I was white-trash orange. A good fix, although it won't be blonde, is to dye it a really dark brown, and in a few weeks, you'll have this really amazing auburn color.

haha that reminds me that theres this kid at my school with the bleachiest color of hair ever. We call him "bleach." haha now that i think of it, i dont even know his real name...

That's what you get for thinking bleached hair would look good. I thought that trend died the painful death it deserved in the late 90s/early 00s.

Been there. Just dye it darker right away. I know it's not the healthiest thing to do for your hair, but once it's been bleached, it can't get much less healthy anyway!

Many people are unhappy with the way they looks, so they spend time and money trying to improve themselves physically to make themselves feel better and to fit in. C'mon man, you should've learned this stuff in grade two.

but its always seemed pointless to me, it just kills your hair. I mean, at the end of it all, it's only colour... and women change their mind FAR too much to warrant doing something as destructive as hair-dying

Many people make stupid decisions before thinking about the longterm effects. A lot of people are just idiots in general. But people do what makes them happy, I guess. The mysteries of the human mind are endless.

I'm not implying that. I said that a lot of people are idiots in general because he was questioning why people dye there hair when it harms it. I guess I should have said that some people just make idiotic decisions.

there's a few reasons why I dyed my hair different colors cause I was bored of the same color all the time. it's just a preference choice really

I've dyed my hair bcos I was bored with my natural hair color, not all the time women do it cos they're insecure, some guys also dye their hair. even some do it just for fun
