everyone's hair goes through the orange stage when you bleach it. from black to the palest blonde, the undertones are blue, blue violet, violet, red violet, red, red orange, orange, yellow orange, yellow and then pale yellow. you probably didn't leave it in long enough, didn't use a strong enough developer, or you just need to do it again. i would recommend getting it done by a professional though, because you can seriously **** up your hair if you've lost too much strength and moisture and you try to do it again.
Yeah. See.. here's how it works. Bleach is Bleach Hair Dye is Hair Dye Bleach goes BENEATH hair dye. It lightens hair and strips it at the same time. Which makes it easy for the hair dye to grab hold.. Making it harder to wash out. >_> Unless you're an already light light blonde bleach is going to make your hair orange. No matter how many times you bleach it.. Notice how even super famous rich people still have dark roots at least two and half inches from their head? Yeah. Healthy hair.. doesn't strip it's color until it's coarse..
the same thing happened to me about a month ago. was in germany with friends and they decided that i should try to fit in so we tried to color my hair blonde. what happened was that i became ginger and when i came back home all my friends and family laughed at me for being ginger but i didnt want to cut my hair so i had to continue dealing with it
That's why you dye over it, preferably in a darker colour. Bleach strips the colour out of your hair, whereas colours like brown just add pigment.
one word: toner
that doesn't sound like much of an fml it's something I would do :D then again my hairs currently blue.. nvm fyl
I bleach my hair all the time. After a week it'll turn blonde
That's why you leave it to professionals. And if it was a professional, dear god.
