Today, I am losing my dental insurance. I actually had the thought that I know lots of people lacking teeth that still seem happy, accepting the situation. FML

try to keep them clean as best as you can because bad teeth leads to heart problems

I don't have dental insurance and haven't for years. Save up for the twice yearly appointments, or at least for once a year, and keep up with dental hygiene. It'll cost less in the long run.

Honestly, you're not wrong. I had to get a tooth yoinked once when I couldn't afford the root canal (and couldn't endure the hideous pain it was causing me), and it fades into the background.

A lot of dentists have special pricing and/or payment plans for people without insurance. Or you could look into a dental school. One near me charges only $30 for an adult cleaning.

I've read and reread this three times and I'm still not 100% sure what you are trying to say. I'm assuming the FML is the loss of dental insurance but can't figure out what the superfluous bit about other people without teeth has to do with it...
