Funerals are hard enough. Be happy that in the hardest of times she can be strong and laugh. One day she'll need you to do the same.

Funerals can make people do funny things. At my own mother's funeral between the service and the burial I found myself telling a number of inappropriate jokes and stories. I was embarrassed about it later, but luckily I was talking only to my best friend and her girlfriend, and they both said they understood.
