Today, after my girlfriend broke my copy of GTA out of anger, I went to buy a new copy. I asked the cashier to hold onto it for a sec while I went to turn off my car. Some little kid took it from the counter and ran. His parents chewed me out and I didn't get it back. FML

It sounds like you already paid for the game (otherwise you could have just paid for a different copy and the shoplifting kid would have been the shops problem, right?) In which case, why didn't you just take it with you, back to your car? Why did you need to return to the shop? Unless you hadn't paid for it yet, in which case how long would it have taken you to just finish the transaction, so you could take it with you? And why did you leave the car running in the first place? THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE
