Tickle time

Today, I told my boyfriend to stop tickling me, since I absolutely hate being tickled. He got extremely pissed at me and left the room. It took me a full five minutes to realize that I'd called him by my ex's name. FML

if he acts like the asshole you left for tickling you, he deserves being called his name, doesn't he? anyway, if he's pissed off by your slightest mistake while he allows himself the slightest torture, you're better off without him.

Most people call someone by another's name when that person is doing something out of character that reminds you of the person you called them. I've called my bf by my ex's name, usually when he is being an a hole (sometimes even on purpose - he gets the message real quick)

I've done the exact same thing. My current GF, I never get truly angry with. My last GF, I got angry with her on an hourly basis. A year after we(current) had been together, if I got frustrated enough, I'd slip and call her my ex's name.

happened to me! he was mad for about 30 min tried to make me feel bad, but! it was the same name i just wasnt thinking of my ex... it was another friend of mine i happened to hVe had a conversation about 5 min prior... shitty!!!

73- it's completely normal to do call your boyfriend/girlfriend by their ex's name. i'm assuming you'll never know because you won't get a girlfriend acting like that! bless your heart!

no worries I introduced my now wife of 5 years to my father as Jessica ( her name is Jenn) and he automatically said well there goes your shot. if it was meant to be it will work out.
