Today, my boyfriend asked me to marry him by handing me a ring and telling me, "Okay we're engaged now." I should have seen it coming when we started dating, I went to his house one night and as I was leaving he said, "Okay you're my girlfriend now." FML

Sounds like Papa Lazarou. "You're MY wife now!" Seriously though, telling you rather than asking you is a rather bad sign. I'd be more than a little hesitant to go along with what he is essentially treating as his decision. If you said yes, don't let him tell you when and where the wedding will be. These are things you decide together, and if he refuses to allow you to make decisions about your own life and future, get out.

wow you need to get out now. he sounds controlling. this one guy i was dating was really controlling so then i tried to dump him and he said no. there was another fml about that, but it happened to me too. then he shoved me to the ground so i decided to stay with him for a few more days. but then i dumped him and he left me alone for a while. controlling guys are stupid and you should get out before he won't let you do anything with anyone but him. trust me, it sucks ass.
