Just going to say it, your husband has ptsd. Trust me, I know the feeling. Sadly, I experienced something just like this yesterday when trying to get a protection order. I’m lucky I was able to control myself, but it was one of the hardest things i’ve had to stop myself from doing in my life as I contemplated whether I wanted to give up my recent progress (full hire plus benefits for first time at a job) for the satisfaction of ending someone i absolutely hated in a courtroom to protect my wife. I’m moving next month and putting as much distance between us and them as much as I can instead.
