Today, I was supposed to present a speech on diabetes. The girl who went first chose the same subject, knowing I'm diabetic and that it was my topic. I went last, so I had to change half of my speech on the spot. I sounded ignorant about my own illness. FML

Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. I stumbled through the presentation, feeling the embarrassment steadily grow in front of my colleagues. I almost passed out. FML

Today, I had a big presentation at work and I was feeling really confident. I'd practiced it over and over and I knew it inside out. But when I got up to speak, I realized I had left my notes at home. I ended up winging it and it was a disaster. FML

Today, I gave a presentation in class. I felt pretty good about it, until afterwards when I was told I lost points for communication because I'd been chewing gum. I wasn't, I just have a speech impediment. FML

Today, I was working as a stagehand for one of my college classes. I’m diabetic and can’t go without food for more than a few hours. I was told that if I left early, ate anything backstage, or passed out, I would fail the class. I passed out. FML

Today, as part of my medical anatomy course, I had to give a presentation about an STD and the effects it has on women. The class was comprised almost entirely of girls. I become extremely anxious and accidentally stated, "Vaginas are smelly" as my opening statement. FML

Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML

lol and your problem was? I have given presentations where I saw the subject and the slides on the spot, when everybody was watching at them and I still managed to do it right. Everyone found it a good presentation and none suspected a thing. And for a disease you have yourself it should be easy. I prepare myself in a way I know what i want to say, but I don't prepare it not in sentences. I have also been a salesman and sold things I didn't knew.

Hey, my daughter is type 1 and on da pump and u wld be surprised hw many ppl dn't knw wht it all intells. u shld've got out ur strips and meter and showed all you hv to do to check ur blood sugar. And explained hw you can eat anything they can as long as you take enough insulin 2 make up foe it.

Continuing because I ran out of room. To OP, when I was in school, I used to do projects on diabetes all the time because I felt it was good to spread some accurate info about the disease. But it doesn't sound like you did that. By changing your project, you may be misinforming people. So YDI.
