Today, I woke up early, went to the gym, then came home and showered. When I went into my room to change, my mom woke up and started pounding on my door, screaming about how lazy and useless I was for sleeping so late. When I tried to tell her otherwise, she grounded me for "talking back". FML

Depends how late you sleep... If you're sleeping in past noon every day, I'd say that's pretty damn lazy. No one actually needs that much sleep. Unless you were up super late (early) doing stuff, of course. But thats just my opinion because I could never sleep until noon. For me, sleeping in means 9am.

Next time knock on her door and invite her, or at least wake her up just to announce that you're going. Then accuse her of not even lifting for whatever reason.
